OthersMy Samsung Frame TV is connected by HDMI ARC to a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) speaker bar. All the streaming services (Netflix, Prime, etc) play at normal volume, but live TV (accessed through HDMI as the source) plays at no more than 20% volume compared to the other sources. How do I boost the TV volume?

OthersHi Bjs54,
We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If your Samsung Frame TV is connected via HDMI ARC to a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) and you're noticing low volume only when watching Live TV, while streaming services like Netflix and Prime sound normal, this is likely due to a signal format or broadcast volume discrepancy.
Please try the following steps to help resolve the issue:
1. Change Digital Output Audio Format. On your Samsung TV, go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format. Set it to PCM (if currently set to Dolby Digital) Or try Dolby Digital (if it's currently set to PCM) Test both options to see which provides better volume balance.
2. Adjust Sonos Volume Limit Settings: Open the Sonos app and go to your Beam settings. Check that TV Autoplay or Volume Limit isn't restricting output. Toggle Loudness off and on again to reset the processing.
3. Check External Broadcast Device Audio Output (if applicable). If you're using a cable box or set-top box via HDMI: Go into that device’s audio settings. Set the audio output format to Stereo or Dolby Digital, instead of Auto or Passthrough. This can help normalize inconsistent broadcast volume
Let us know if these steps help resolve the issue!
Thank you.
