We bought our Samsung frame TV 65” on November 2021. The remote was working fine and we didn’t need to be charged since we bought it.

Since last couple of weeks the remote shows low battery and  doesn’t charge using charger or solar under light or sun.

I read in Samsung community in other countries this is a common issue for Samsung Frame TV remotes.

Have you got any solution yet?

Exact same issue. After the first few months we could only ever charge with a cord as the solar/light charge stopped working. Now it just has the red light on to indicate it’s flat but the USB charge doesn’t work anymore either. Remote doesn’t work at all anymore. Did Samsung ever provide a solution?

Hi, same issue here but on my second remote….. and it just did it again, which prompted me to see if this is a trend.  Just hit the 1 year mark on the Frame tv and don’t care to spend another $60 on a 99cent remote.  Any support would be super. Also the remote hangs out in a bright room…

I have the same issue, and even bought a replacement remote on Amazon but that doesn’t work too well either.

i did manage to get the remote in my phone via the smart things app, but it wasn’t easy, and I can’t remember how to get it loaded onto my wife’s phone. At least it’s a work around but overall, not acceptable to have such a nice tv with a remote that doesn’t work.

Same frustrating issue as the others are reporting. Brand new frame tv, beautiful TV I really love, and the remote worked great for many months without having to charge until it finally died. I charged it with a usb cable , but remote wouldn’t hold the charge for longer than a day. Im now on my second authentic Samsung remote, and again after probly 6 months problem free, it died and again won’t hold a charge. This time it won’t charge more to more than 16%. Amazing TV bit this remote issue is ridiculous, bizzare given it’s a premium unit.
Samsung, is there a solution? Are you willing to provide a replacement remote that can be charged and hold a charge?

I have the same issue tv less than a year old. Remote still works but has to be plugged in to USB cable. Did anyone get a response from Samsung about a replacement?
