My Samsung UN55NU6900 has always had speaker issues where the sound would go off, but if I changed the channel it came back on.  The TV is less than 7 months old.   I disconnected the cable yesterday and put in a Fire Stick to stream TV.  The speaker was working fine last night, but this morning there is no sound at all.  Any ideas for solutions to this problem?   Thanks.

Hi cls459, When the TV has difficulties with sound, these steps may help resolve the problem.
Go to Home >> Settings >> Support >> Self Diagnosis >> Start Sound Test.

Also please check whether the Digital Output Audio Format is set to Dolby Digital+.
If you are using a receiver that does not support Dolby Digital Plus, you will hear no sound
when you select Dolby Digital+.
Home >> Settings >> Sound Expert Settings >> Digital Output Audio Format >> Dolby Digital+.

I'd try a factory reset, see if that helps, if not then I would check to see if there is an update for your tv🤙
Good info @keagan 👍
But the sound works intermittently 🤦
And as @gokongming says before, this may be a warranty issue 🤷
