Samsung has their own under display fingerprint sensor patent on file

Let's hope we'll see this in a very near future, like maybe on the Samsung S10

Ditto for me - Makes sense with the FPS on the back - I pick the phone up with my left hand and with a case my finger easily find it - Then (since I'm Right Handed) I'm ready to use the phone - 🙂🐧

ya I see alot of postive coming from members having the sensor on the back. I created a post a few months ago saying when the finger print was on the first I never used it, not once. onlu started using it on my S8 when it was on the back. I really hope it stays on the back :(
