Why since I made the update my cell phone a S 20 Fe 5G the notification doesn't light up the screen and when I get a notification from Instagram I don't get any sound at all or vibration nothing. If someone can help me ..I try all the setting I send email to myself the cell vibrate but doesn't light up like it use to be all arround the screen and on the top it say new message or email there's nothing at all.
I hope someone can answer or fix that probleme. And why all the icon are Grey now and not the original color for the notifications??? This updated just gave me headache I pass over 8 hours on that phone and YouTube to try to fix that..
Hi, have you tried to perform wipe cache partition and check if it helps to solve the issue? If not, we suggest you to perform wipe cache partition.
Below are the steps to perform wipe cache partition.
1.Turn off the unit.
2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
I try what you told me I get some notifications but for instagram it just doesnt work for Gmail I just get the notification when I reboot my cell or the app , I go in the setting I look at everything but all the notification are * ON. I made a lot of test with my sister and that's how I figured by myself the setting it's a really pain in the a... because you have to go at 2 places to turn that ON . Well in my case anyway. After the update. Because it change the setting . On my samsung galaxy S20 Fe 5G. I just don't know what to do with Instagram now Gmail I can deal with it I use outlook as my main email and I finally get the notification for that one. Snapchat I don't know yet and whatsapp
