Hi, we would like to suggest you to please follow these steps to view Wifi password.

Go to “settings” on your phone, then “Wifi”.

Select “saved networks” and click on your home network.

Choose the share option and enter your password.

A barcode will appear with the Wifi password written below.

First off, it's Settings > Connections > WiFi & secondly it is a QR code, not a Bar code & finally, the WiFi password is not visible, so if you forgot it you would have to use the QR code.

Ya but that opition was still nice I don't know why one ui 5 is giving us the wifi name instead of the password hopefully one ui 5.1 beings that feature back.

Hi, have you tried to perform network reset and Wipe cache partition and reset network setting?

If not please perform both the steps and check if it resolves the issue.

1.Turn off the unit.

2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).

3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".

4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.

5.Press the Power button to reboot the unit.

1. Go to Settings, and then select General management.

2. Find and select Reset.

3. Choose Reset network settings.

4. Tap on the Reset settings button.

5. Tap on the Reset button.

Note: When you reset the network settings, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth information connection are reset.

Yeah, resetting network connection would be a waste of time, as would be wiping cache.. 🙄
