When I use the voice-to-text method from the Samsung keyboard, if I don't stop or turn off voice-to-text before sending a message or doing anything that clears the text box, the message will fill the slot again after I stop it, even though I've already sent the message. Then I have to clear the entire field every time, and this is a constant issue. It seems like there should be a built-in feature where, if the text box is cleared (such as when a message is sent), the grammar and punctuation corrected version should not be re-added to the text box.

Hi asafsaf,

It seems like the voice-to-text feature in Samsung Keyboard is not behaving as you'd expect, where it reverts to the previously dictated text after you've sent a message or cleared the text box.

Before sending a message, tap and hold the text box, then select Clear all to ensure the text is erased completely. You can also backspace the text manually to clear it.

Clear Cache/Data for Samsung Keyboard: Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Keyboard. Tap Storage > Clear cache and, if needed, Clear data. This can reset any underlying bugs or issues that may be causing the unwanted behavior.

Thank you.

I was having the same issue.  Below is a screenshot of a way that I found to correct it.  Mine was the opposite and needed to switch off Samsung messages since I was using the Google version.   The double voice text is a result of having both message apps installed.   Good luck.
