Why Samsung Notes do not support landscape pages?

It is frustrating to look through the menus only to find that the option simply doesn't exist. I watched a YouTube video that showed how it can be done by creating a custom page by importing a blank landscape pdf.

Why I have to go through such lengths for something so trivial and important is beyond my imagination
