After I updated my phone, I couldn't connect to shawmobilehotspot anymore.  I get, "Couldn't authenticate connection". Does anyone know what to do to resolve this issue?

Try resetting your network connections.

Hi RedDogRabbit, just reset network. Now it's trying to connect to ShawPasspoint which it never did before. It won't connect. It just says, "avaliable via shawpasspoint". When I manually try to connect to Shawmobilehotspot, it ask for a password instead of automatically connecting. What's going on?

I'd suggest that you contact Shaw to ask them at this point.

I'm not in a region where Shaw is an i.s.p. so other than resetting network connections, I'm not why you're having trouble connecting with their hotspots.

It's not Shaw. It's samsung. They pushed an update that screwed **bleep** up. I can connect via my samsung a71 so definitely not a shaw issue. It's a samsung issue. I cannot connect via my s10e

Hey stop telling people it's shaw. It's samsung. Other devices on an older kernel is connecting fine. I've contacted shaw and even they say it has to do with Samsung.

Hi, we suggest you to backup and reset and check if the issue still persists. Here are the steps to backup your data:

Backup from Samsung account--Apps > Settings > Cloud > Backup > Select the data > Back up now.

Backup from Google account--Apps > Settings > Backup and reset.

Here are the steps for factory reset, settings>>General management>>Reset>>Factory data reset>>Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Reset>> Delete All.

Not Shaw when other devices can connect fine. Devices that had a recent update can no longer connect to Shaw passpoint. Don't get me started on the stupid tethering issue either. Again it's your fault as it was your update that screwed up things. Shaw said they could find Nothing wrong on their end.
