Can I use dex on like a library monitor or something ?  I remember I could use it in the past but I can't seem to get it working on my tv anymore.  It used to just cast toy tv on my S20+

Check you TV input settings ( going wired) as well as the ssid & ensure the Galaxy drvice is connected to the same ssid (wireless network).

Library monitors may not even support usbc with display port.

It don't even show on my S25+ as connectable. If I get a wire what do I need ? Type c to usb or type c to type c?

Check monitor connections available or call into the library to inquire.

Useful to get used to hdmi cable as u your Samsung already comes with USB to usbc cable.

If DeX isn't showing as connectable on your Galaxy S25+, going the wired route is a great option! Go with the Type-C to HDMI adapter or a Type-C to HDMI cable for the most reliable connection.

Ensure the adapter or cable supports 4K output for the best experience.
