Stop Samsung Internet from opening Apps

I'd like to set samsung internet to open only webpages and not apps. When I type Amazon.com it opens the amazon app, if I google "amazon" and click on the link for Amazon.com it will also open the Amazon app. 

Is there a away to disable this without uninstalling apps? I'm trying to streamline the experience for my Aunt. She's older and just wants Amazon.com to be Amazon.com.

Theres a way to do this but I forget 🤦
Just delete the app, you don't want it popping up anyway🤷

Yes, there is an option to disable "open links in apps" from settings

Open settings >> Apps >> Tap on three dots on top right corner >> Default apps >> set as default >> Toggle off Open links in apps.

Also, you can select the options in Opening Links under Installed apps for a particular application.
