I'm trying to figure out how many calories I am burning in a full day. The Samsung Health app appears to track three seperate counts on the Daily Activity page: Total Burned Calories, Exercise Calories, and Activity Calories. The Body Composition page gives your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). I assumed adding the Exercise and Activity Calories to your BMR would equal Total Burned Calories, but it does not. Anyone know what figures should be added to calculate all calories used in a day??

Hi Mo2000,

Total Burned Calories already include BMR, Activity Calories, and Exercise Calories, plus any other daily movements.

The discrepancy might be due to non-tracked movements or slight inaccuracies in the app's estimation. You don’t need to manually add anything, as Total Burned Calories already factors in everything.

Thank you.

If you want to permanently delete the calorie count or any data from Samsung Health, here's what you can do:

Deleting Calorie Count Data in Samsung Health:

  1. Open Samsung Health: Launch the Samsung Health app on your device.

  2. Go to Home: Tap on the "Home" tab at the bottom.

  3. Access Calorie Tracking Data: Find the "Calories" section or "Food" under the tracking categories and tap on it.

  4. View Logged Entries: Scroll to see your logged calorie data, and tap on the specific date or entry you want to delete.

  5. Delete Specific Entries:

    • For each meal or item logged, tap on it to view details.
    • Tap the three dots (⋮) or edit icon, then select Delete.
  6. Delete Entire Data Set (Optional):

    • If you want to delete all data, go back to the "Home" screen, tap on the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner, and select Settings.
    • Scroll to Manage Data > Delete personal data.
    • Select the types of data to delete or choose "Select all" to clear all data, including calorie counts.

Considerations:

  • Deleting data is usually permanent, and Samsung Health does not provide a way to recover it once deleted.
  • If Samsung Health is synced with other apps or accounts, ensure those connections are managed to avoid automatic resyncing of data.

Let me know if you need help with anything else!
