Samsung Health Data not Syncing to Cloud

My Samsung Health Data stops syncing to the cloud after a few days every time I clear the data or reinstall the app. Any ideas why this keeps happening? When I try to do a manual sync it doesn't pop-up an error message or update the timestamp of the last sync. I have also tried syncing over wifi and data and that does not make a difference either. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having this issue as well. It is November 22nd and the app says it was last synced October 23rd. 

I have tried clearing the cache for the app, rebooting and logging out of my Samsung account in the app and logging back in. I’ve also tried switching between mobile data and WiFi.

When I try to manually sync by tapping the “Sync now” button I see some kind of icon to the left of the “Sync now” button for a split second and then it is gone. There are no errors or warnings. 

This is app version 6.28.2.003 on a Google Pixel 8.

Additionally in my “Accounts” in System Settings my Samsung account is listed, when I tap into it the “Account Sync” option reads “Sync off for all Items” when I tap on that it brings me to an “Account Sync” view which says “Sync Samsung Health with Samsung account” but there is nothing to enable.
