Samsung Health is not reading from Health Connect. Is anyone facing this issue?

  1. Samsung Health is connected to Health Connect.
  2. Samsung Health has full read/write permissions to Health Connect.
  3. Google Fit too has full read/write permissions to Health Connect.
  4. Few other apps push health reading to Google Fit, which I can see in Google Fit, but not in Samsung Health.
  5. When I check, Health Connect shows only Google Fit is accessing Health Connect and not Samsung Health.

Please check the screenshots below.

Install Health Sync from the Play Store. It is a Paid app, but there's a free trial so you can see if it works for you.

No, google came up with a great idea to have a app interface that'll share data across multiple platforms. In theory it's a brilliant idea. Put into practice you have lazy developers at samsung (who probably use iphones) writing code for these apps.

I have been having the same issue. I use Health Connect to bring my peloton workout info into Samsung Health. The last time it worked was Sunday, Aug. 6. It did not work yesterday or today. But everything is up to date and connected/permissions shared properly

I have the same exact issue. Samsung Health has not updated my Garmin or peloton data from health connect since August 6th.  I have confirmed the data is on health connect but Samsung Health is not taking it any more. Anybody have this working?

As far as I know, the only Health Data that can NOT be added to Samsung Health, are the "steps". This was the correct decision by Samsung, as some people were using questionable methods to artificially increase their "steps", and by ridiculous amounts. ie: equivalent to walking around the globe a dozen times (exaggerated for illustrative purposes).

Have you tried using Health Sync from the Play Store, it is quite good and there's a trial version if you just want to make sure it works for you.

I have the paid version of health sync. It doesn't resolve our issue because we want the peloton exercise activity and garmin exercise activity to sync with Samsung Health. It was working fine via the health connect app until August 6, 2023 which is the last day it synced to bring over the data from the health connect app.

What version of Health Connect do you have installed on your device?

Check the link below to see if there's a newer version of Health Connect, which may resolve your issue?

Same issue here. my last synced workout between Google fit and samsung health was from Aug. 3rd. Something must have changed on one of the apps. I use Google fit with a polar heart rate sensor, but the samsung app is better to review results. It really **bleep** that samsung isn't willing to support 3rd party BT devices on their watch.
