Why does my Samsung Health Monitor app not give me the option to Monitor sleep apnea? I have a Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra phone and a Samsung Galaxy Ultra watch

Hi dave-r,

The Samsung Health Monitor app currently does not support direct monitoring of sleep apnea. Although it tracks sleep patterns and provides insights, specific sleep apnea detection is not a built-in feature. Samsung has been gradually adding more health-related features, so future updates could potentially include this capability.

Please ensure both your Galaxy Watch and Health app are up to date.

Thanks for your reply. The reason I asked was that I saw a video on YouTube about the Samsung Galaxy Ultra watch and he showed that through the Health Monitor it measured sleep apnea

If I am not mistaken, the sleep apnea feature is available for the Samsung Watch 7 Ultra in the US, but not in other countries.

I live in Canada, and I hope that Health Canada will approve the sleep apnea feature.

the apnea app is available in canada now. I even spoke to tech support and they were telling me it should show and then asked me to report the bug. I cannot get it to show on my phone or the ultra 7 watch. Now sure why you are saying the apnea app is not available in Canada.

this is from the canada samsung website. This option will not appear on my watch or the phone health monitor app

Yeah I'm in Toronto. I wish Samsung would advice non US residents that it's only available in the US
