Sleep apnea update via Samsung Health monitor

EDIT: This morning I received the Samsung Health Monitor update on my watch ultra, and now everything is synced up.

This morning I received an update to Samsung Health Monitor on my phone, and the sleep apnea feature is now present. However, when scanning for my watch, it does not yet work because the watch is missing this update. It seems we will get this feature in Canada now!

I have the Watch Ultra.

Out of curiosity, did you have to do anything special to make your watch sync up? I have the Galaxy Watch 7 (non-Ultra) with the OneUI 6.0 update (January 11, 2025) and WearOS 5.0. My Z Fold 6 has the update Samsung Health with the Sleep Apnea tab, but it says "No compatible watch found". Did you have to unpair your Watch 7 Ultra to get it to recognize your watch? TIA

Hi, just go to the Samsung app update on your watch (Settings - Apps - Samsung app update).

There you should see the Samsung Health Monitor update.

If you don't see it, wait a couple of days; it will show up.

Both the watch and phone need the update. Often, the update will appear on the phone first, and then it may take a couple of days for the same app update to appear on the watch. This also happens with Samsung Health.

thanks. It looks like I am stuck on version 1.3.4.005 on my Watch 7, but the version on my phone is 1.4.1.006. I'm not certain about anyone else, but the Samsung Health Monitor app doesn't even show up as a download in the Samsung Store or on the Google Play Store. I'm guessing that the 7 Ultra received the certification, and the rest are on its way. Congratulations on getting the update.

I just took a look at the Samsung Health Monitor on my watch, and I have version 1.4.1.006.

Like I said, it took a day or two before the app updated on my watch. I'm sure you will get it soon.
