Samsung Pay after update removed my credit card

After updating Samsung Pay, my Visa disappeared. When trying to add it again, I'm receiving an error that it already exists. I tried to Activate it, but it will not take as it says it's already registered. I'm was working with support and they advised to post this message here. 
My ticket number is as follows: ID #95327002

Please help.

Try Clearing BOTH Cache & Data for Samsung Pay / Wallet & Reboot. See if you can add your Visa again?

Yes I had this problem also but Samsung chat support told me that the Samsung Wallet app in fact didn't support my credit card while Samsung pay did?🤷‍♂️

It's never been that Samsung Pay, or Wallet didn't support a Credit or Debit card. It's always been the Financial Institution that did not support Samsung Pay / Wallet. 

Samsung Pay / Wallet is perfectly happy to support any bank's cards. It is the bank that needs to support the mobile payment method.

My credit card disappeared after the last app update. I tried entering my credit card details in the app but message says card already existing but I cannot see the credit card on the app? I've cleared the cache and even rebooted the phone yet still cannot see my credit card. Last resort would be to delete the app and download it again which I prefer not to do. Any idea what could be the issue?

You could always try:

  • Clear Both Cache & Data for Samsung Pay again. DO NOT OPEN IT AFTER, until the next step. 
  • Booting into Recovery & Wipe Cache.

See if you add the Card now? 

 

INSTRUCTIONS on how to Wipe Cache:

Power off the device & wait a few seconds. seconds.

 

Press & HOLD the Power & Volume UP buttons until you feel the phone VIBRATE & Release BOTH buttons at the same time.

 

Wait a couple of seconds until you see the Recovery Menu.

 

Use the Volume button to scroll down to "Wipe Cache" & Select it with the Power Button.

 

Wait until the Recovery Menu Defaults Back to "Reboot System Now".
