Samsung Wallet US phone in Canada

Hi, trying to add a Canadian card in a US bought phone. Having trouble with zip code. I have tried entering 00 before and after Canadian postal code numbers only. Worked for me previously. Not working right now. Any clue on how to work around?

Samsung Pay / Wallet needs to be activated in the device'z country of origin. 

Don't think that there's any way for you to add a Canadian Credit / Debit card to a US device.

Yes, you understood correctly. I had the same issue on my watches bought from China and U.S. I have to buy a new watch in Canada. Then, there is no issue using Canadian/US credit cards with Samsung pay.

Google wallet may work

The Canadian credit cards should work but not the debit. Call the bank that issued the card in canada and they will be able to force it through. When you do that do not mention its a US phone. I was able to do that with CIBC. Good luck

Hmm. I have a zip code in US to use it. You can try a random valid US zip code to check it.

You can use the Samsung wallet app in Canadian phones only.
