Secure FolderEvery. Single. Time. I get into my car my phone prompts me to enter my password to unlock my secure folder. When I do it eagerly asks me if I want to install Android Auto. If I say yes, it fails to install. If I say no, it waits until the next time I get into the car to ask me again. I don't know if this is a Secure Folder bug or an Android Auto bug, but it's driving me a little crazy. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with all available updates. My car, if that is important, is a BMW M235i, which was one of the first BMW cars to support Android Auto. I've seen similar issues reported here and elsewhere, but none that have tied it to Android Auto. This has been going on for quite some time, so I'm absolutely sure that Android Auto and nothing else is the instigator of this problem. I have not found any setting that would seem to govern this behavior. I thought of trying to turn off some kind of notifications, but there is no obvious app, and this doesn't behave like a notification in any event. If you need a bug report, let me know, and I'll capture it the next time it happens.

Secure FolderIf you follow the request to open secure folder when connecting to android auto, you'll find its trying to get you to install the android auto app inside of secure folder (like the any other apps discussed in this thread that exist within secure folder). To make this problem go away, that's exactly what you need to do. For some people, they're getting an error. The way I did it was to activate secure folder, then open secure folder. Once in secure folder, there is an option to "add apps". Select this option, then at the top there is an option to download apps from Google play store. Select the Google play store option, and download android auto. Once installed, you can go to the apps lists thats in the secure folder settings, and android auto will now show up. You can now disable it. I'm not sure if disabling is a requirement, but that's what I did. No more prompt when connecting.
