Do you have to manually click secure folder? If I click "all data" when it shows wht I want to transfer will it automatically transfer my secure folder?

When you open Smart Switch and you have the choice of backing up everything, or Custom.. Everything will backup Secure Folder & Custom (from memory), you need to Select Secure Folder.. I THINK 🤔

I don't use Secure Folder normally, that's why I'm not sure.

I just tried to Smart Switch 'Everything' over to my new phone but when I checked the new phone, my Secure Folder was empty. So... I went back and checked the old phone and that was empty too.

Maybe not so secure, eh? 😆 🙄

Thank you RedDogRabbit.

It seems to be failing now. I am running secure folder, unlocking it and after trying to backup all using smart switch - and it always says I cannot backup secure folder and need to unlock it. It is already unlocked. Tried few times, always same stuff...

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I've used this method before but it no longer works.  Would be great if someone from Samsung could officially confirm if this feature was disabled in the latest update and if so what can people do who have backups that now can't be restored via this method.

Have you had any luck getting a response from Samsung on this?

Edit: Just to clarify, I have a backup that I created using this method before but now I'm unable to restore it a few weeks after making that backup. My issue now is that I can't restore it
