Secure FolderI don't want my child to access or use Secure Folder on their phone (which I haven't bought yet).
I plan to use Google Family Link to restrict what apps they can use on the phone.
Can Google Family Link block the Secure Folder like any other app?
Does Secure Folder run like an app on the phone, or is it something else?
Any idea?

Secure FolderHi SamsunPerson,
Google Family Link cannot block Secure Folder. However, you can prevent access by not setting it up, hiding it, or using a secure password to protect it. This way, your child won’t be able to use the feature, even if it's available on the phone.
Thank you.

Secure FolderThanks.
So I would have to access the phone before giving it to them and set up Secure Folder with a password and not tell them the password?
Would they be able to reset the password?
If I didn't set up Secure Folder, I presume they could set it up (if they found it in the settings)?
If I hid it, I assume they could find it if they looked for it?
Thanks!

Secure FolderHey SamsunPerson
Saddened to see you didn't get a reply from anyone in the past couple of months .
So hopefully this helps.
If you hide it from the settings they can access it in settings.
However, you can uninstall the secure folder by following the steps below
- Open secure folder after a basic setup
- Tap the 3 dots
- Settings
- More settings
- Uninstall
Then with samsung parental controls you can stop them from installing it again.
Also, just so you are aware you will not be able to stop them using the "secret mode" on the samsung browser.
What i would recommend (dependant on their age and your trust in them) is uninstalling samsung browser and allow them to use Chrome.
As with google parental controls it automatically blocks them from using incognito.
Hope this helps and isn't too late ❤️ :)
