I'm so sad, i got a new phone and did not realize my secure folder was not backed up when I did my back up or that even Samsung had gotten ride of that. now I've lost everything I had in there 😭 with no way of getting it back.. I'll know for next time to back that up individually if I remember in couple years

Unfortunately, since the Secure Folder encrypts its contents for privacy, retrieving data without a backup is nearly impossible. Please try the below steps to avoid this situation again:

Enable Secure Folder Backup: Open Secure Folder > Tap More Options (three dots) > Settings > Backup and restore. Sign in to your Samsung account and ensure Secure Folder Backup is turned on. This will save the data securely to Samsung Cloud.

It’s tough, but it's a learning experience that will help you safeguard your data in the future.
