I just bought it on Amazon, but the tag is connected to someone else. I have reset it many times, but the issue persists.e.

If your Samsung SmartTag 2 is still connected to someone else's account, this is likely due to Samsung's Anti-Lost Mode, which prevents unauthorized access.
Confirm the Reset. Ensure you have correctly reset the SmartTag 2:
- Press and hold the button on the SmartTag 2 until you hear a beep or see a light indicator.
- Release the button and wait for it to power cycle.
If the tag is not showing up on your Samsung account after resetting:
- Open the SmartThings app.
- Tap the + icon > Device > SmartTag.
- If it says the tag is connected to another account, this confirms it’s still linked.
