TV overheating in bottom left corner and screen going dark

Our TV (Model No. UN85AU8000FXZC) the other day turned dark with some light bleeding on the bottom left corner. The bottom left corner of the TV was burning hot. Now, when the TV is turned on, the perimeter of the screen is dark (bottom corner still gets hot). We are 2 months past the 2 year store warranty. When we called Samsung, they said any repairs would be at our cost. The TV is a fire hazard and is clearly faulty.  I am extremely disappointed in the level of support and customer experience offered by Samsung.  Has anyone else experienced this issue with their TV?
