What app are you trying to uninstall? 

Generally speaking, you can NOT uninstall System Apps. 

Some System Apps might allow you to Disable them... but it depends on the App.

You DEFINITELY DO NOT want to disable or uninstall this KMS Agent is part of Knox Security and it provides protection for NFC and Banking / Payment services.

It is not recommended to uninstall the app as it is part of the Knox Security

Well, they CAN'T Uninstall it, no matter how much they might want to.

I'm wondering if this is why the Google Play Store has an update that won't update. The Smartphone doesn't have a problem doing all of the updates.

Is it the KMS Agent, or a different app?

Did you try updating apps on the Galaxy Store?

It is incomparable with both the smartphone and the tablet. I have done updates on both devices (Google Play Store). I will check Galaxy Store.
