Number Verified, what's that mean?

When I get calls from numbers not in my contacts they sometimes say number verified yet it doesn't tell me who it is that's calling. What exactly is this number verified thing?

Is ok, not a big problem to me. Just curious why I don't have that.

I just have the green check mark too, probably carrier related.
