Solutions & TipsAbsolutely Betas should be available in Canada, it's exactly the same hardware as in the US..
Samsung's own Moderators frequently apply their answers as if they were replying to the American market, this is evident when they would say things like, "updates will be available, depending on Carrier.." etc.. In the US some Carriers do release Samsung Updates, ie: AT&T.. Whereas in Canada, all of Samsung's OTAs come directly from Samsung's Canadian servers.. But I think that perhaps my pointing this out... REPEATEDLY, they seem to have stopped saying updates could be Carrier dependant..
Regardless, even if Samsung Canada does not have the necessary support for the Betas, it would be a welcome change for us to be the ones to decide if we want to test the Betas..
I do realize that Canada is just one of ~195 countries on the planet, and Samsung has always only opened the Betas to 6 or 7 countries.. And that Samsung gets the information it wants from the much larger American market.. but still..
Adding insult to injury, with the recent changes in the Recovery Menu, we can no longer manually install the US Betas on our Canadian devices..

Solutions & TipsHi RedDogRabbit,
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed thoughts on the One UI 9 beta program and its availability in Canada. As you mentioned, Samsung typically limits beta programs to a small number of countries, based on regional testing requirements and market size. While Canada has not historically been included, your feedback about wanting the choice to participate in beta testing is important and will be shared with our teams. We also recognize the added challenge with recent changes to the Recovery Menu, which now prevents manual installation of U.S. betas on Canadian devices.
Your passion for Samsung software and your constructive feedback help us better understand the needs of our Canadian community.

Solutions & TipsI actually wouldn't be too surprised, if Samsung Electronics, thinks that Canada is part of the US.. Seems like Moderators are often confused about where Canada exists in the World.

Solutions & TipsBonjour/ Hi fanfan,
We understand your frustration regarding the availability of the One UI 9 beta program in Canada. It can certainly feel disappointing when other regions gain early access while Canadian users are still waiting, especially when you own a flagship device like the Galaxy S26 Ultra. We empathize with your concerns and appreciate you sharing your perspective.
At this time, beta releases are offered selectively in certain markets, and availability may vary depending on region-specific testing requirements. While we cannot confirm future timelines for Canada, please rest assured that your feedback is valuable and is shared with our teams. Your patience and enthusiasm for new features are greatly appreciated.
