Hello everyone, Today I noticed that Samsung email app showed as sending notifications as showing in the attached pictures. I didn't send any email this week at all... i checked all my draft and sending emails folders, but thetebis nothing... the app showing a notification as it is sending something to someone.... I restart my phone, same thing still going on.

I tried to force stop that email app, but the force stop icon not responding (because the app comes with the Samsung, soo we cant force stop it. It is a default app i guess)..

Does it mean my phone is hacked?
What can i do?

FYI: my phone is Samsung s24 ultra, from America, and i live in Canada.

Hi Ahmed_Nasr,

It's concerning to see the Samsung Email app displaying notifications that suggest it's sending emails When you haven't initiated any action. While this doesn't necessarily mean your phone has been hacked, it’s crucial to investigate further to ensure your device and accounts are secure.

Open the Samsung Email app and review. Sent Items folder: Look for any unfamiliar emails. Drafts folder: Ensure no suspicious drafts are present.

Secure your account: Change your email password immediately from a trusted device. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your email account.

Clear app cache and Data: Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Email. Tap Storage and choose Clear Cache.

If the issue persists, select Clear Data (you will need to reconfigure your email accounts afterward).

You can consider Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If issue persists, then as a last resort please perform Factory Data Reset.  Backup your data before proceeding.

In Samsung Email app, expand 3 bars on top left. Then expand All Folders at the bottom.
