Solutions & TipsHi Kumbaya,
Thank you for raising this important question regarding the use of Samsung Pass versus Google Password Manager. Both services provide secure storage and autofill functionality for credentials, but they differ in scope and integration:
-
Samsung Pass is designed specifically for Samsung devices, offering seamless biometric authentication and strong integration within the Samsung ecosystem.
-
Google Password Manager is linked to your Google account and provides cross‑platform synchronization across Android, Chrome, and other devices, ensuring accessibility beyond Samsung products.
If you primarily use Samsung devices, Samsung Pass may offer greater convenience. However, if you require password access across multiple platforms, Google Password Manager is more versatile. The repeated prompts you are experiencing occur because the two systems do not synchronize with each other. You may choose to disable Google’s save prompts in settings if you prefer to rely solely on Samsung Pass.
We appreciate your feedback and hope this clarification assists you in selecting the option best suited to your usage needs.

Solutions & TipsI added transit pass to google wallet, saved and it keeps asking to save it agn after opening to use buspass so I removed it altogether, (reminder: I switched to samsung internet so would that be the culprit? 😆)
