Hi, jordoleo! 🙌🏻

Sometimes this problem occurs because of battery optimization settings or background activity restrictions that prevent chat notifications from being pushed in real time.

So, you needs to make sure that both Grab and Gojek apps are excluded from battery optimization and are allowed to run in the background without restrictions.

Another possibility is related to the notification category settings inside the apps themselves, since Grab and Gojek often separate categories for chat, promotions, rides, and orders.

You should go into the in-app notification settings and confirm that chat notifications are turned on and not muted. In addition, clearing cache and data of the apps may help, because sometimes outdated cached data can disrupt push notification delivery.

It’s also worth checking whether the system’s “Do Not Disturb” or notification summary features are interfering, as these can block or delay chat notifications even if other notifications are working fine.

Re-logging into the apps, updating them to the latest version, or reinstalling them completely can also refresh the push notification token and fix the problem.

If all of these steps still do not solve the issue, then the problem might be related to One UI 7.0 compatibility or a bug in the app itself.

Thanks for responding! Unfortunately I have tried all the step you have listed above.

One clue that I found recently is that the notification is appearing on the notification history (bottom section on last 24 hours part)

The notification is listed as "custom app notification" I think this might cause the issue, do you know more about this?

That notification might indicates the notification's origin is likely an app with a background process or a specific function on your device, rather than a standard app interaction you initiated.

To find the source, check your Android notification settings for apps with the most recent activity, then locate the "custom app notification" entry to see which specific app is sending it and identify its type of notification.
