Bring back "format as internal storage"

I want to be able to use my 512GB SD card as internal storage on my Tablet again. But Samsung removed the option

It's not just Samsung that has removed Adoptable Storage. 

There's valid reasons for not being able to use the external sd card, as Internal Storage, least of which is that sd cards are inherently slower than the internal storage, and they can & do occasionally fail.

I personally agree with the above, and I d, and have never (even when possible) installed apps on the external sd card.

Using the external sd card for backup, images etc is what I want to use, but not for anything else.

My Lenovo tab was fast even with an sd card it put the Samsung tab to shame

Good for your Lenovo tab.

If you haven't noticed, external sd cards are unfortunately no longer even available in Samsung devices since the S20 series.

So there's zero chance that Samsung will do anything & Since Google phones never had external storage, along with iPhones, there's no pressure on Samsung to bring external sd cards back.

Write a letter to Samsung's CEO if you want...

In my samsung tab's case both option are avaialble select from either internal or external storage. As provided choice it should work accordingly based on slection. While you select the Sd card option for storage not as backup it suppose to work as per selection but that isn't alike and nothing more than frustration

Can anyone even store apps to there sd card after the 12 update ???

You mean Android 13 update?

Some apps can be saved to the external sd card, but only if they are designed for it. Regardless, apps saved to the external sd card will run slower than if saved to internal storage.

I can't move any apps to SD card ppl are saying that after the 12 update there tablets were messed up but the representative said the more we complain the faster they will fix it, I am just glad I can still return mine I've never liked Samsung there is always an issue with this company if best buy had the Lenovo smart tab m8 I would have bought that Samsung sung **bleep**
