Samsung needs to bring back support for all its tablets or refund customers.
This is a cheap trick from Samsung.
They sell you a tablet for thousnads of dollars but they don't support them, this should be considered a scam on behalf of Samsung. I find this rather disturbing that they don't support there products, I find that if a company creates a product they should support it with updates or offer to buy it back.
If not then it's a cheap trick from the company, if they don't want to support there tablets then stop making them & refund customers. I have spoken to lawyers about this & they agree that Samsung needs to change that no updates policy some of these lawyers also use tablets & there not happy customers, they also feel That Samsung cheated them out of their money on these tablets, they didn't bring it up because they felt it wasn't worth it until i spoke to them about it,
They intend to find a clause in the consumers protection agency database to find the loopholes that will put Samsung in the spotlight over its abandoning of its various tablet's.
Many users frel stuck with a outdated product tgat the company just dumped on them knowing it was going to abandon it. The only way that Samsung can get out of this mess is to create updates for there tablets no matter the year, if it's to old then the recycling laws should be implemented & Samsung should buy them back considering the amount of use on the product. It's the two best options for Samsung & tablet user's, if not it's considered cheating the customer's out of there money & that can hurt the company's reputation, there are multiple user's out there that feel as if Samsung just abandoned them, why must Samsung leave user's feelings cheated rather than fux the problem.

This Tablet was released in 2018 with Android 8.1 it was updated to Android 10.

It's almost 6 years old. No one should reasonably expect any further updates.

That leaves the product open for digital attack. Samsung really should work on it. Plenty of people feel let down.

8 year old anything, arguably isn't as safe as something newer.. Should manufacturers update everything for free?

I can't really imagine anyone with an 8 year old device, feeling "let down".. Pretty much got more than your money's worth.

The tablet in question was made in 2020

😂 Why? Did you use it since you bought it?

I really can't believe you can be serious about this..

Maybe I should be asking Samsung to buy back my S20 Ultra... for no good reason, but just because 🙄

Yes the tablet has been in use. As fir the buy back part, they do offer it on Samsung devices, you get credit on future Samsung products.
Not a bad trade in. The only thing i wonder is, if there is a limit to the number of Samsung products you can use on one trade in . Question of possibly lowering the cost of a new device.
