The Garmin Connect app can run many background processes, including syncing data and notifications. If it’s continuously active, it could be consuming resources, slowing down your device. Try disabling background activity for Garmin Connect temporarily to see if it improves performance.
Regularly clear the cache for system apps, including One UI Home, to free up resources. To do this, go to Settings > Device Care > Memory > Clean Now. This can help if memory is being tied up by apps running in the background.
If you often see "Optimizing One UI" during restarts, it could be due to certain apps not fully optimizing with the device’s current software version. Try clearing the cache partition (this won’t delete any data):
- Power off your tablet, then press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears.
- Navigate to Wipe Cache Partition using the volume buttons, select it with the power button, and reboot.
If the tablet is still slow, you could boot into Safe Mode (by holding the power button, then tapping and holding "Power Off" and selecting Safe Mode) to see if the Garmin app is the cause. If performance improves in Safe Mode, it’s likely due to third-party apps.
If the performance improves after restricting or uninstalling Garmin Connect, it’s likely the app was affecting your tablet’s resources!
Thank you.
