Brand new hearing aid user. My hearing aids are LE Audio capable and I stream a lot of music and videos on Apple devices (mostly iPad)  which have their own proprietary MFI Bluetooth connection. Audio quality is bad and I get frequent disconnects despite doing all of the standard fixes, Eg re-pairing, re-booting, etc, etc. I am thinking about converting to Android. I understand that some Samsung phones can connect to LE audio. But, I cannot determine if any Samsung tablets are LE audio ready. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Yes, Samsung Tablets running One UI 6.1 or later and Bluetooth 5.2 or later.. So, any new Samsung Tablets will certainly exceed the minimum requirements for LE Audio.

HOWEVER, Samsung has disabled LE Audio on the Galaxy S25 series.. for some ridiculous reasons.. but I'm not sure if it applies to Tablets?

This is the ridiculous explanation:

The omission of Bluetooth LE Audio and the LC3 codec from Canadian Samsung devices (such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra model SM-S938W) stems from a mix of regulatory, carrier, and firmware consolidation practices unique to the region:Canadian Multi-Carrier Certification: In Canada, Samsung distributes a single hardware variant tied to a unified software firmware code known as XAC. Because this single firmware must be certified to run across all major Canadian network providers (like Rogers, Bell, and Telus), Samsung aligns the software with the strict baseline requirements of those carriers. If certain advanced network-integrated Bluetooth standard tests are deferred or omitted by the carriers during regional testing, the feature gets completely omitted from the CSC firmware build to maintain uniform stability.

Hi Jackhammer1,

As RedDogRabbit correctly noted, Samsung flagship tablets do support Bluetooth LE Audio, which utilizes the ASHA protocol for hearing aids and the LC3 codec for next-generation streaming.

Samsung has integrated LE Audio capabilities natively into its premium tablet lineups through software updates (One UI 6.1 and higher) and hardware specifications for the Galaxy Tab S10, S9, and S8 series (via One UI updates).

If you are looking to purchase a new Samsung device, we encourage you to contact our online support team, who will gladly help you with your choice.
