Oneui 5 Apple magic trackpad 90 degree movement issue

since updating my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to Oneui 5 (Android 13) my Apple Magic trackpad movement are 90 degree offsetted:

• when moving the finger up or down on the trackpad: the pointer moves sideways on the Tab S8 Ultra.
• when moving the finger sideways on the trackpad the pointer moves up or down on the Tab S 8 Ultra.

This used to work perfectly.

• I unpaired and repaired the magic trackpad: no change
• I rebooted the Tab S8 Ultra: no change.
• I have another bluetooth mouse that works perfectly
• The trackpad on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra cover works fine.

This seems to be a bug in the new version of the UI.

Until you find a solution turning your trackpad 90 degrees should make the mouse work normally

Not the best since the trackpad is inclined and landscape... Putting it sideways is really not an ideal solution...

🤣 I never said it was ideal but is a whole lot easier than trying to remember to think 90 degrees turned to run the mouse and I also stated until you find a better solution
I don't personally have one but pictures I looked at the slope shouldn't be a major problem either

I have noticed the same exact bug. Seems to be One UI 5 related issue. I have the Tab S7+ and the Tab S8 Ultra. I use the original Apple Magic Trackpad. The same issue occurs on both tabs with the trackpad

Is there a place to report this bug on the Samsung web site? Or is this the best place here?

On your Tab S8 Ultra in Samsung Members you can go to support at the bottom right of the screen and then look down the list to send feedback and you will find Error Reports where you can report your concerns to Samsung
Pretty sure they will never see your problems on Samsung Members app

Just bought the apple magic trackpad. Yup confirmed issue exists
