The screen on my wife's tab s7 fe is not responding when attempting to use the spen. Touch screen still works fine with fingers. I tested her spen on my s7fe and it worked fine. Any suggestions what it might be? I googled it but can't find an answer.

Try rebooting her tablet and see if you can see any information about it connecting to the spen as it loads.

Did you try your spen on her device to see if it works?

Sounds like her device is not connecting to a spen so check the connection settings

I have rebooted the device, checked the spen settings. Her pen works on my device and my pen will not work on hers as well

It was working this morning, just suddenly stopped

Not sure if it might help to get it connected again but place the spen on the charging dock and reboot the device

You could also try booting into recovery and wipe the cache on the tablet to see if that might help

To do this

Power off your device

Connect your charging cable from your device to the usb on a computer and notice device is charging

Press and hold in on the power key and volume up keys at the same time untill you see Samsung on your device screen and then release both keys and shortly you should see the recovery screen load

Use the volume down key to scroll through the list down to where "Wipe cache partition" is highlighted

Press the power key to select this

You will see a screen - Wipe cache? yes or no

Use volume down key to move to yes and power key to select

Your device should now have "Reboot system now" highlighted and press the power key to select

That is it and your device should boot up normally

As you have mentioned even your SPen is also not working on your wife's Tab. If possible please get the device examined by the service technician to know the root cause of the issue and get it fixed.
