This device named Redonjé's tablet, appears in my shared menu. At first, I thought that my actual tablet came on, so I checked. I took my tablet out of the safe and it wasn't on. The name of my actual Galaxy tablet is different from Redonjé's tablet. What's puzzling me is that my name is Redonjé, but I have no device named Redonjé's tablet. I even tried sharing a file with this unknown device via Quick Share, and the file transferred almost instantly. That makes things even weirder. How do I find out what and where this device is? I tried samsung find and only my current devices are all listed.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Samsung Account > My Profile and check to see what devices are listed there.

Do the same for your Google account..

The device with your name, may appear differently.

Log out of any device that you don't recognize.

I did that and there were no unknown devices linked to my google or samsung account. I changed the password for both accounts and signed out of all devices. Just remembered that in my Google account, it showed that I was signed into a Google Pixel 5, which I don't own. Signed out of it. However that unknown device still appear in the quick shared shared menu. It doesn't appear under Bluetooth devices or wifi direct devices or nearby shared devices

Hi Redonis_,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for taking such proactive, thorough steps to secure your accounts. Please rest assured that your peace of mind and device security are our top priorities.

To help clear this out faster, we recommend trying the following steps on your Galaxy S24:

• Clear the Quick Share Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Quick Share (you may need to tap the "Your apps" filter icon and enable "Show system apps"). Tap Storage, then tap Clear cache and Clear data. Repeat this process for Quick Share Connectivity.
• Reset Google Play Services Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play services > Storage > Clear cache.
• Restart Your Device: Perform a quick restart of your phone to allow the system to rebuild your local sharing network.

We appreciate your incredible patience as the cloud systems finish updating.

I identified the issue with the device: it was my Android TV box, which had been incorrectly recognized as my tablet. This occurred because the device was able to connect via Quick Share, leading it to assign itself the name "Redonjé's tablet" (my actual name) and remain continuously visible on my phone. I disabled this feature, resolving the issue. The device is no longer appearing as a tablet on my phone.
