Secure Wi-Fi protects your data from cyberattacks, providing an environment where Galaxy users can use Wi-Fi networking with confidence.

Your phone’s Secure Wi-Fi feature lets you browse the internet safely, even when you’re using unsecured, public Wi-Fi networks. It offers protection by encrypting internet traffic and blocking tracking apps.

Secure Wi-Fi provides a certain amount of protection free of charge every month to help protect your activity. (Android™ 12 higher 1024MB / Android™ 11 lower 250MB)

To enable Secure Wi-Fi, simply follow these steps: Settings > Biometrics and security > Secure Wi-Fi

We provide various and practical functions according to your needs, for additional information, please visit How to Use Secure Wi-Fi.

This is a great tool and definately worth using, especially if you use free public Wi-Fi!!

Edit: Members may not find this on their device, so you can grab it from the Galaxy Store:

This doesn't appear to be available for everyone. It doesn't appear in my settings. Perhaps it will be in the next update. I use a S22+ with latest patch as of today.

Thanks. Note this post implies the software is already on the phone and the web doc does as well.

Here is part of the first sentence of this post:

"Your phone’s Secure Wi-Fi feature lets you browse the internet safely..."

That's a fair call.

I've just read that Google is going to be offering their Google One VPN free on Pixel 7 devices.

Considering the Samsung one is free up to a certain usage and then requires a subscription it would be prudent to review this.
