A square design totally reeks of technology and does not look premium at all. It looks like a PC on your wrist which I do not want and I will abandon Galaxy Watch over. Ugly and unwarranted change not in line with the best watches.
Different strokes because I'd actually love to see a square face after only seeing round all the time. There are analog watches which are coveted that have square faces like the Cartier Tank and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, so I wouldn't say square should be associated with technology.
