I experienced a bad infection from the galaxy buds pro. This never happened with the buds plus so I'm thinking it might be a problem with the pro. My ears were swollen, had fluid discharges, and it hurt so bad that I had headaches from it as well, including the fact that the ear itself burned and ached. I tested it again after my ear recovered but the infection came right back again. I did not use it for long hours and kept it clean by disinfecting it after use.

Hi, When you wear canal-type earphones including buds pro for a long time, the humidity inside your ears and may cause skin irritation or contact dermatitis such as inflammation of the outer ear. It can also occur when using other manufacturers canal type products. If you feel ear pain or skin irritation occurs while using earbuds, please immediately stop using the device and visit your doctor for consulting. And we recommend removing earbuds periodically from your ears so that the humidity inside the ears can be lowered when using the device for a long time. After prolonged wearing Buds Pro please dry your ears and clean earbuds and ear tips regularly to prevent any problem. Samsung has continuously managed the harmfulness of product materials according to internationally restricted substances with controversial hazards. In addition, we are verifying compliance with international environmental regulations with an externally accredited international testing institute.

Yeah I don't know if you can blame the buds. Some people sweat more than others & some people's ears create more moisture than others. I think that I would rarely have my Jabra buds in for 2 hours straight. I've never had an ear infection, but I have occasionally noticed a mild irritation.

Maybe pop the buds out after an hour for a few minutes & see if that helps.

I just tried it on after recovering from the irritation just for 30 min in an air conditioned room and the fluid discharges are back again. I don't really think I'm the problem anymore. In other countries like Korea and US, Samsung started giving out refunds to people with the same issues since its not just a minority. I wonder when Canada would start providing that.

That's really strange, I wonder what the earbud tips are made from? Have you tried a different brand of Buds?

I've had exact same problem with my bud pro . Where fine for the first couple weeks with light use mainly one ear. Then the clear fuild leaking out and severe pain. I stopped use until ear was all clear which was at least 2 weeks. Tried the buds again almost instant(2 minutes of use) leakage in ear . I've tired a couple more time either ear instant problems. I've tried other pods and had no issues. Please help I love my music!!!
