WearablesI don't know if the samsung design team is listening but I don't know where to leave the feedback on the watch so here it is.
I've owned a Galaxy Watch Active 1 and a Fossil Gen5E (running Wear OS 2) and I'm disapointed to see that the GW4 has seen a lot of regressions from both Tizen and Wear OS 2.
1. Can't take calls on the watch. Wear OS 2 got this right.
2. Stress detector doesn't work, always displays "average".
3. No reliable way to know rhat the Watch us recording a workout. It should display a notification.3. Can't thumb-up tunes from media player. Galaxy Watch 1 got this right.
4. No good media player "complication" displaying the artwork. Wear OS 2 got this right.
5. Workout detector doesn't work well, often fails to start. The one in the original galaxy watch active worked better.
6. Reminders to keep active don't work as well as with original galaxy watch.
7. Media player volume control is much less convenient than the one in Wear OS 2. We used to be able to raise or lower volume in one click from the media screen. Now we have to click the small volume button, and then go drag a small point in a very precise motion to spin around the circle. Try and do that while running.
8. No satisfying watch face with lots of useful complications. Digital dashboard is the only almost decent one but I can't display album artwork on it.
Users should be given the option to dismiss notifications on the phone when they are dismissed on the watch
9. Battery life not very good. only about 30 hours. Much less if recording workouts.
I tried to return the watch but they refused because I damaged the box while opening it.
