I have noticed an issue with the Fit3 band data being overwritten by the phone data.

For example, I left my phone in the bedroom and went for a walk wearing the fit3 watch. When I came home, the phone and Fit3 got synced, and the phone steps count was showing on the Fit3 instead of the Fit3 steps count on the phone. This resulted in my entire walking activity being wiped out.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue and provide a solution.

Thank you for your time and attention to this.

Hi Bobby03, please disconnect and reconnect both the devices and also restart both the devices and check for the issue. Also, please check the below settings.

Force sync:
  1. In the Samsung Health app, go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap on "Sync now" to force a sync between the app and your watch.

Check sync settings

  • Open the Samsung Health app on your smartphone.
  • Go to Settings > Data permissions.
  • Make sure that "Workout data" is toggled on for syncing.

Hi Bobby03, have you tried to restart both the devices, disconnect and reconnect them?

If you are still having issues after rebooting your watch, check for software updates on your watch and the Galaxy Wearable app. If the above steps didn't work for you, then please perform back up and reset the watch using the steps in the link given below.

https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/samsung-smartwatch-reset/

If you still face the issue, we invite you to report the error through Samsung Members app by going to the 'Support' tab, scroll down to the 'Send feedback' section, click 'Error reports', and submit your report.

Thank you.

I have attempted several troubleshooting steps, including rebooting devices, resyncing, clearing the phone cache at startup, and testing in safe mode as advised by the chat agent. Unfortunately, the issue persists, as the steps on the Fit3 device do not synchronize with the phone. Numerous users have reported similar issues in reviews. I have submitted an error report through the Samsung Members app, but I have not received any updates or acknowledgments.

Issue seems to be related to fit3 sync. I have reset the fit3 and now the steps are coming to phone. Hope it stays that way.
