Over the past few days, my 6 classic has been losing power very quickly. Two nights ago, it went from 70% to shutdown overnight. Yesterday, it went into power saving mode after only 12 hours!

A few days ago, I was getting 2 days.

I looked up several articles and have done everything recommended but no joy.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Put in airplane mode, shut down the Bluetooth connection. This should help the battery stay longer

Hi gwinegarden,

We’re sorry to hear that your watch’s battery life has suddenly dropped so significantly. This isn’t the expected behavior, especially since you were getting up to 2 days before.

Here are some recommended steps to help improve your battery performance:

  1. Restart your watch and connected phone: This can clear temporary glitches affecting battery life.

  2. Check for software updates: Make sure both your watch and the Galaxy Wearable app are updated to the latest version. Samsung often releases patches that improve battery stability.

  3. Review recently installed apps and watch faces: Try switching to a default watch face and remove any recently installed apps that may cause excessive battery use.

  4. Adjust settings: Turn off features you don’t need, such as Always On Display, Wi-Fi, or GPS when not in use.

  5. Reset your watch: If the issue persists, please back up your data and perform a factory reset. This often resolves software-related battery drain issues.

  6. Check battery health: In the Galaxy Wearable app, you can review battery status and usage statistics to identify potential causes.

We appreciate your patience and are here to assist you every step of the way. If you need guidance with any of these steps, feel free to ask!
