its not just screen though it also attatched the full glass casing and the charging port and earplug port that is why its expensive

less expensive than purchasing a new phone. take into consideration, this is the latest model, how much money you have available for repairs, consider buying insurance (the premium is usually around $150, but they would give you a new phone) and how long are you planning to keep this device. I'll keepine for at least 2 or 3 years, so if it was me I would buy the new screen (of the crack is really annoying)
