SM-T510 getting slower and laggy every update

Hi,

I assume the galaxy a 10.1" 2019 is getting android 10 but is it UI 2 or 2.1 for Canada? 

And, is it me, every new update seen to slow my device. I never notice much lag but it's noticeable now. Every action like recent app or loading an app or clicking on a setting takes 3-5 s before it actually performs...

Tried clearing cache in recovery from time to time. Disable unused apps, sleep apps, perform " don't keep activity" , limit background process, kill some service and cached process but it only last a few days before it slows again. Factory reset doesn't help much either, maybe a few weeks longer. What else can I try?

I've been running into the same issues ToddMan. Haven't tried a factory reset yet, but maybe I won't try that just yet. The scheduled restarts haven't worked for me for quite a while - it worked once after this latest update, and then not since.

I'll take a look at Cassidy's link before trying anything else.

So I did go through Cassidy's link, and this thing is still getting maddeningly slow every day. Even after a restart in the morning, it's bad by evening.

Any other ideas?
