Bixby
Hello,

I have recently switched over from Google Assistant to Bixby, due to the nice seamless integration and overall uniform experience when using One UI. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G running Android 13 and One UI 5.1. I am used to the "Hey, Google" wake-up phrase and I can see the "Hi, Bixby" in Bixby settings under voice wake-up, but I cannot figure out how to change my voice wake-up. I asked Bixby "Change wake-up phrase" and I was told that something went wrong. I don't know if I can change the wake-up phrase, I thought I could because of the "Hi, Bixby" in Bixby settings, but I am not sure.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, please try the below steps and see if it helps.

Open Bixby by pressing and holding the Bixby or Side key. Tap the Discover icon (it looks like a compass), and then tap More options (the three vertical dots). Tap Settings, then tap Voice wake-up, and then tap Respond to my voice. Tap the switch to turn this setting on. Next, tap Wake-up sensitivity, and then choose Low, Medium, or High. Tap OK.

The following additional options are also available under the Voice wake-up menu:

  • Wake up phrase: You can choose to get Bixby's attention with either "Hi, Bixby," or just "Bixby."

  • Respond to my voice: You can teach Bixby to respond to your unique voice.

  • Wake up when sound is playing: Bixby will wake up even when a ringtone, alarm, or media is playing.

  • Speak seamlessly: Say your command right away after Voice wake-up, without waiting for sound feedback.

Bixby
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, as of my version of Bixby (3.3.5.0), there is no Discover icon when opening Bixby. If I open Bixby settings, I see the compass that opens Discover, but there is no three dots in the Discover screen. In Bixby settings, I see ths voice wake-up option, but I cannot see the option to change the actual wake-up phrase itself.
