Hey yall,

Last time I used the health app was forever ago, and I'm now 3 phones later and went to check it out.. one thing I've noticed, is that my heart rate monitor that is recorded by use of the sensor on the back side of the phone, just doesn't seem to be a feature anymore..
Sure, it offers you to be able to add a recording manually, but how am I to add these things when I can't get the readings.. And most people don't have blood glucose reading machines, or a BP machine either, to get those readings, to then enter them manually..

I am confused if maybe there's a button somewhere that I need to click on, to activate that feature? Because I can't see them making a "better version" of the app, and not include that very convenient and pretty necessary feature to the app..

If any of yall know anything about this, and could help out in any way, that would be amazing, as I feel as though I'm going crazy each time I'm trying to figure it out.

Thanks a bunch!!

The last Samsung phone I had, which included the Sensors for Heart Rate, BP & O² was the S10+.

Since then, Samsung has been gutting it's hardware, removing what was once considered to be basic features.

Samsung's misguided approach, was intended to get people to buy Samsung watches, but Samsung hasn't bothered to get certified by Health Canada, so if you want your Samsung watch to be used for health measurement, you have to **bleep** the watch & install the US firmware.

Another not so brilliant move by Samsung.

Okay what in the actual **bleep**, for real?! And yes, I literally had the S10 as well!!!!!! And honestly, I'd still be using it if not for me being distracted and not realizing that my bag was open.. and I got outta my car, 7 things fell outta my bag.... and no joke, the impact only left a tiny little crack in the very bottom on my left side... BUT!!!
That's when my phone started to, for the lack of a better teen... have an epileptic seizure

Funny that Samsung censor-bot blocks the word "H*A*C*K" 🤣

I've seen actual swear words that went unnoticed for ages lol.

Sorry to hear about your S10 😕

I agree 100%!

It's Samsung imitating Apple, & for things that Samsung used to ridicule Apple for doing!

Samsung removed the Notification LED, Headphone jack, O², HR & BP Sensor & now with the S21 you don't even get the charging block!

Samsung says that it's for "environmental reasons"?? Really lol 😂
