I have a question about the camera app

Will photos taken with the camera be deleted if I clear the camera app data? Because for an unknown reason, more than 2 Gb of data are stored in the camera, and I want to clear them to free up storage space (it is the 2nd application that occupies the most storage space !)

I only have 12.37MB. Photos taken with camera should be saved under Gallery app. I don't think clear data for camera app will delete your photos. app Data & Cache usually only store app settings and configuration.

*** I tried on mine. All my photos still in Gallery app. Tested. Only configuration gone.

Yea, just in case. Don't want you lost your photos. So I tried on mine first. 😊

Yeah, Clearing App Cache & Data for the Camera wouldn't delete your photos from your Gallery, in the same way that Clearing Cache & Data for Messages, doesn't delete any of your messages. It only Clears the app's Data, but it doesn't delete any of your messages.
