Trying to use voice to text. It works for SMS and for whatsapp but does not work in Google search bar.Why? Also having issues when using it for SMS and even this post. Uses uppercase in middle of sentence. Using Samsung keyboard .

Go to Settings > General Management & if you are using Samsung's Text to Speech, change it to Google's Speech Services.

Should work for you now.

I want to go from speech to text. The suggested advice did not work.

Text to speech & Speech to text, use the same engine. 

Google's Voice to Text works for me.

Hi, as adviced by RedDogRabbit please follow the above steps to use Google's Speech Services for speech to text and check if it is working for you.
