Am I the only one experiencing this?  On auto all my shots over exposed. Similarly the colours are quite off.  Are other Samsung products the same?
A friend said the same thing about hers.
Anyone else make this same observation?

Rossputin, we never know when Samsung will make a update, better to do is chatting with one  their support's agent with Samsung's Members or call their bad customer's support...

Sensor is a hardware issue. No update will fix it.
A70 picture is blurry because the A70 uses a 3:4 "HD" mode by default, which binds pixels to make an 8MP picture. The Note9 does not need this and takes 12MP pictures on it's own.
Salesman at major stores rarely know more than the number written on the product. They don't know how it works technically. They don't know what the number means, just that bigger is better.

thanks.
this is the worst camera I've ever had. worse than my first smartphone from 10+ years ago (Galaxy S3).
that plus other issues makes this purchase regrettable.
what do I suggest I do? will Samsung be amiable for an upgraded phone?

beurk, can't you change your device ? Don't understand why @Community_Moderator or Moderators  don't help anymore on user's post since Galaxy UNPACKED, maybe @Jeremy_from_Samsung could explain it to us !

Ask for a refund if you can, pictures like that are unacceptable from Samsung.

For that you need a flagship. Even an older flagship like the S8 or S9 will be much better. They are excellent in low light and have big pixels which enables them to not make blurry pics. Plus the S9 and more recent have bright apertures.

You're not getting good cameras in midrange phones. The cheapest alternative is to buy a previous generation flagship.

sounds like the specs are misleading
hopefully bestbuy will be accommodating.
